Our 1st Exposure in the Press

Check out our 1st article in the Tri-State Defender. The Tri-State Defender is one of the longest, continuously-published African-American papers in the United States. It was very active in the Civil Rights Movement and is aimed at the African-American market not only in Memphis, but also in nearby areas of Arkansas and Mississippi (information taken from The Tri-State Defender’s website). I would like to say thank you to Rachel Benford for taking the time to come out and interview us.

Wedding Show...We Are Ready!

Sunday was great.  We met so many  brides.  For all of the brides that stopped by our boot, we look forward to meeting you soon.  We have something truly unique and special planed for all of our brides this year.  If you have not booked us yet, then what are you waiting for?   Dates are going faster than we originally thought.  At this rate we may have to add a few more weddings to our calendar.  Here is a few images of the staff hanging out.  We hope to see you soon!

Our Mayor!

I had the privilege to meet Memphis Mayor Herenton back in November.  He stopped by our studio and we gave him a tour.  I must admit that we both were impressed.  I, with his passion and love for Memphis and he with our studio.   As with any politician, there will be those who love you and those who hate you.  I think it is very important for one to get to know another before judging them.  Well, I got a chance to document a historical moment in Memphis history yesterday.  I was tired and sleepy but I was not going to miss this momentous occasion. I wish Mayor Herenton and new City Council well as they lead Memphis for the next four years.   So, here are a few moments in Memphis History.  Enjoy!
